Apolipoprotein A1/Apolipoprotein B Ratio Blood Tests

This is the ratio between levels of apolipotprotien A1 (which is a component of “good” HDL cholesterol) and the level of apolipoprotien B (which is a component of “bad” LDL cholesterol). It is used to help assess the risk of cardiovascular problems. An optimum ratio is considered to be less than 0.8.
